My prediction for the Ontario election is a majority for the Liberals. If Im right I will blame the PCs for once again dropping the ball. Promising and unrealistic 1M jobs along with cutting the OPS by 100k just doesnt make any sense. First, the million jobs is an unrealistic number and one most cant really grasp. Regardless of the math issue if there is one. The magnitude simply screams bullshit. Second, laying off 100k workers is going to get people riled up. Great headline for those who dont understand the public sector and dont care to be educated. There would be more credibility in talking budgets, much as Ford did. There is a systemic problem in the public service and it isnt the people (with a few exceptions) so blind cutting is just idiotic at best. My hope is that Im wrong. But these two fundamental mistakes will like secure Wynne a majority. So thanks for nothing Tim. Ill still vote for you, but youve messed up, again.
