My previous comment of Oh snow in no way is intended to insult those families who find themselves in a real bind when school is cancelled or delayed. It is also not intended to insult my colleagues by implying that we are all just glorified babysitters. Similarly, I do not wish to imply that our newly licensed 16 year old drivers can not handle driving in the predawn hours on snow and ice covered roads surrounded by many children with the same exact amount of driving experience. And finally, I do not wish to encourage children to look forward to those special days that mean so much to them and create fond memories that last their entire lives. If anyone is out there right this minute with your PJs on backwards dancing in your lucky shoes, or whatever your local traditions may include, please do not post photos or comments on Facebook about it with the intention of stirring things up!
