My process is more mood driven, meaning- my process depends on what kind of mood Im in. I sometimes work out little thumbnails before transferring an image to the final board, or I sometimes paint straight onto the board without even penciling first. I paint straight to the board when I really feel the image and know that I dont even need to pencil it first, like taking a risk with a downhill bike and jumping off a cliff-knowing that you can make it. They all look the same, no matter which process I use in the end.
