My professor did an excellent lecture on Sales today. In fact though some students found it boring I really enjoyed it. One of the biggest things that hit me was she said there was a recent study that stated that they have found out that people who post a lot on Facebook want attention. And its 100% true. It is so smart. We want attention because of different things. Some are hurting, some just like the thrill and some are people like me. I want attention because I mostly enjoy, then understand the value of discussion, jokes and influence. The intelligent conversations I get in my inbox are wild-out-of-the-box and very educational. So yes I want your attention, because even I am smart enough to know that every single person out there adds value to my life. Without them I am nothing. And quite interestingly though it took me a while to absorb it. This was what she was talking about. Relational business. Smart as F--k! Wanting attention is not necessarily a bad thing. In fact its really the loser outcasts who always say that the popular kids are insecure and dumb because they are in the spot light. While secretly wishing they were popular. I mean why bother if you didnt care? Hello are you getting my drift? So F--k yeah I want attention. So should you!. Also dont you get the value of knowing tons of people? I mean come on. What do advertisers pay for? How do you promote anything? How do you get revenue.. Really? how? We all know the answer a significant amount of influence, through various means like a good product and then noisy ass people like me or the press.
