My purpose for entering this virtual reality... social hive.... cult of facebook...honestly, is mostly to promote myself as an actor...Im chomping at the bit again (stuck in p/t ass breaking work per usual, living my perpetual slogging shadow of hotel reality in the really real world) I crave to keep working my craft! Find the next muse in a story...to be part of the canvass...the light vs shadow aesthetic...the unknown. Ive taken on many characters in my career (non-career) and seek to stay onboard a bit longer. Been at it (acting)...also trying to deny and quit acting, for as long as it has beckoned me from the inside creative core! Being an artist...especially one like me with my middle finger sharply and firmly pointed behind me as I ran from Hollywood...even when they were chasing ME once upon a time (youre the next James Dean bullshit....) yeah...me. I never saw that coming. I just wanted to stay in Seattle and make cool films and push the envelope. But here I am....less middle finger, more thumb out....trying to hitch a selfish ride to more cinemas!!! Dont let me fool you...I dont feel sorry for myself!!! Im going to figure out how to f---ng use this thing and catch up to my old friends and actor pack from my intial paddling out with Billy Burke, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Brendan Fraser, Brent David Fraser, Sheryl Lee, Jim Cavisiel....I know some others. Ive worked with some fine actors, artists...musicians, not to mention my martial arts circles. I would like to learn how to post some films Ive been in...links to them...etc. I really dont get this shit too well. I will learn. I am in a small indy film out right now called TORN. Some of my work cut out...(fortunate my beloved wife didnt have to see that scene - she still hasnt watched me in TWISTED with Ashley Judd yet! Then there is a fighting season...first time a director ever said to me....youre a directors dream...for a small significant part in this important film. Trying to finish my co-star in positive with a director I worked with before vs primitive man. We are hoping that Rosanna arquette is still interested in the leading lady part!!! Crowd funding is the word of the day! Guess my mantra is got funding Meanwhile...I gotta get up to $12/hr to refinish hardwood floors and cabinets again tomorrow. try that in Petaluma with a wife and 3 girls! Love the starving actor!
