My rant of the day. I sit here thinking about the status of our society. I think about those that say my parents were so strict or my parents set the bar so high or I had to respect the rights and feelings of others...etc etc. that I try to give my kids more freedom, try to let them think for themselves. . Well I was a strict patent , my kids were taught respect for everything from toys to people to laws! They were taught achievement was a good thing, education essential. Questioning things was good but with proper research and decency! My kids are respectful ,hardworking, intelligent people. They also have learned from the mistakes the have made. So I will own up to being strict and nosy as to what my kids were doing. I can in all honesty say I am proud of my children and very thankful for that opportunity! So for all the kids out there who think their parents are overbearing,strict, and too much up in your business. BE THANKFUL! For those who try to be your kids friend instead of parent. BEWARE !
