My rare Salmon. A very rare salmon I found one day fighting with murky waters I’d accidentally stirred up. I held him close to my tear dripping cheeks promised I’d care of him and keep him safe from harm… My rare salmon is different from yours, different from the others at the pet store, different from the wild or the cultivated ones, different from all the salmons of the world. Sure, he’s got the same two wondering eyes, same mouth, same fins, same tale, and the very same gray-reddish scales. But my rare salmon is like no other out there. He chose to cheat his call of death to follow his sad fate up the fatal stream and for the longest, beautiful while he’s been spinning around me unnaturally… Accidentally, just like that, I have become his odds defying destiny. I am his perfectly shaped pebble - he’s the watery circles around me, where we both dive in and jump up restlessly! And we want each other so, my rare salmon and I. Desire is by far, the sole life-breathing, waterous wonder for us… ©Kozi Nasi
