My recent post triggered questions from team members in compassionate PAWS. Team members who I respect, value and trust. I had negotiated a deal with an investor last week. It quickly turned nasty and sour in my mouth. It was obvious that the motives were rooted in profit, not people. The attitude was that people were expendable. I do not share this philosophy. I have people counting on me to treat them with the respect they deserve. To stick with this investor would have jeopardized my ability to do that. I took my plan and left. Thanks for validating my preconceived idea about the rich, douche bag.
