My relationship with Jesus is not about following rules to earn my way to heaven. As I seek The Lord and learn new things along the way, I desire to be holy as He is holy. I was wired to be holy. When I am holy, I am happy. As a child looks upon their earthly father with pride and a sense of likeness, I too look upon my Heavenly Father and want to be just like Him. I dont just want to simply know some of the things he knows, I want to resemble him in physical appearance and behavior. As I live this earthly life day to day, I want people to look at me and acknowledge where I come from. When I greet my father in Heaven, I want all of the people around to say that is his daughter! As my Father watches me live out each day down here, I want him to say to himself, She is mine! just as I lovingly acknowledge the shared attributes with my own children! This is my desire for holiness....to be One with my Father in Heaven, whom I love so deeply. The more He reveals himself to me, the more deeply I love Him.
