My report for 3 positive happy moments from today was so easy for me and i could have written this at lunch time as i had these moments early on in the day :D Day 2.. 1) Well as it is Cavans thirteenth birthday i took a few moments to reflect on the experience of becoming a mum for the first time. I felt a mixture of emotions remembering that time. The shock and fear of having the responsibility of such a fragile life, the absolute unconditional love I felt when looking into the soul of my baby, and then later the struggle that came from being away from home, having very little support, two years of sleep deprivation, a baby that wasnt thriving... but hey this is a positive post so thats enough of that.... the point being that despite how difficult it got it was Cavan that got me through each day. I am so blessed to have my beautiful children, so unique the three of them, so different that you would hardly believe they were siblings. Cavan the little Einstein, Cianan full of the devil and then Cliona our little beauty. I am grateful to be their mummy and to have a mothers heart x x 2) I recieved an inbox FB message from a friend that i havent seen or spoken to in over a year. (although we keep up to date on eachothers lives on here) This lady is an ispiration ... when i got to know her, she shared some of her personal story with me i swear it could have been out of a Danielle Steele book or something, needless to say i was in floods as per......Well it was just great to hear whats shes planning next and i just know she is on a fabulous journey now and i wish her lots of love x 3) Flicking through my news feeds today i saw a picture of a FB friend with a curly, black wig on. No big deal, except i have never seen him with hair before. I have known hom since my teens and we knew him as ***** with the cap as he unfortunately developed alopecia when he was young so is as bald as a coot (he wont mind me saying that) * The caption of the photo was I knew one day my hair would grow back!!! Beggars cant be choosers!!! * and three lauging faces but the bigest smile as ever was the one he wore adorning his black, curly, wig. I just love his attitude and he in turn made me smile ~ :D x x I could add a 4th moment when my lap top was found after nearly 2 weeks going awol... why didnt i think of looking under Cavans mattress?? :p :P Today the three friends that i am nominating to share 3 positive daily things are.. Jo Blunt ... because i think shes going soft :P Rachel Beech and Kess Harris because i am finding it a tonic to focus on the good thats happening in my day and would like to share that with you two x x
