My rescues from Patmos(I am on Patmos as well) are living together in harmony! On the blue bed from left to right: Argos, he was found as a puppy on a beach abandoned in the summer of 2012, together with his mother and 2 siblings. In the middle: Bobby. As a underweight, injured cold and wet little guy he looked for food and shelter around our house almost 2 years ago . It took a few days before he trusted us enough to come close and since then he is living the happy life. On the right Boulie who is 12 years old. We have him as from 5 weeks old. He was not a stray, but his owners didnt take good care at all and he probably would have died of neglect if we should not have taken him. The black and white cat is Aris, 6 years old. I found him as a tiny, but healthy kitten on the street, all alone and much too small to take care of himself. The kitten in the middle is our latest rescue Betty. Picked her from the street more dead then alive. She went true terrible ordeals the first weeks. Dehydrated, skin and bones, horrible infection in the face, on top of that she was stung by a giant wasp so she had a huge swollen and infected paw. She fell in coma and I really thought she would die, but she is a little fighter and now, almost 2 months later she is in top condition! On the right the small black dog: Frida. She was raised by hand and fostered from birth by a volunteer from Mondo Cane Animal Welfare Society, here on Patmos until she was 4 weeks old. Then me and my husband took over. (it was in February this year). She was tiny and weighted under 500 grams but incredible strong and healthy! We adopted her as well. Not on the photo is our tiger cat Tigri. I grabbed her from a busy street as a 3/4 weeks old kitten about 8 years ago. She was looking for her mum. I found the mum but she didnt want the kitten anymore. So I raised Tigri by hand and she is with us eversince.
