My response to the Question what did Christ mean when he said it - TopicsExpress

My response to the Question what did Christ mean when he said it is finished ( revised) It means the true Passover has been instituted . I have not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it, heaven and earth will pass away but not one word of the law will. Christ is the true Passover feast that is why Paul says Christ our true Passover has been sacrificed let us keep the feast! The Passover in type was the salvation of the Israelites, in its mystical reality in the sacrifice of the true Lamb of God it is the salvation of the world transcending time itself even saving those before the cross was born into time. Paul in Hebrews 9 describes the meeting tent and everything in it and says that it contains symbols that represent heavenly realities. He then says of these we can not now tell you. It was never explained further in the Bible because of persecution. What was dearest to the church was only truly taught by oral tradition at which time it was explained plainly through the disciples of the apostles. ( Timothy what I have taught you, pass on to other worthy men who will teach others) The Eucharist was known as the mystery of the secret until the Middle Kingdom . This is why Paul says when describing the sacrifice he says dont give what is holy to the dogs. The road map of the churches deeper teaching was not to be exposed to Roman persecutors. Hold fast to the traditions oral and written. Ok back on track . Paul calls Christ the true Passover . The Passover was the Jewish feast of Seder which is completed in four cups of blessing Christ at the last supper for the first time in Jewish history stopped atfter the third cup and said I will not drink of the cup until I enter my fathers glory .before this he instituted the beginning of the New Covenant in his blood. This is my body this is my blood do this in commemoration of me. Christ was instituting the sacrifice of the mass and putting in place his new priesthood that will offer Calvary to the father which will be witnessed by God the Father continuously outside of time for the sins of the world. My name is great among the Gentiles, from the rising of the sun until its setting a perfect offering will be offered in my name . the only perfect offering is Christ himself yet the Gentiles were not brought into the church until after the sacrifice of the cross when Peter baptized the family of Cornelius. Paul says that Christ is a high priest according to the order of Melchesedeck and the order of Melchesedeck offers a sacrifice of bread and wine to the most high God. So, the sacrifice has to be Christ in the form of bread and wine. Bethlehem mean House of bread manger means to eat. God was not born in a manger out of coincidence. The Bible is a triune mystery. In type the Israelites were saved by consuming the entire lamb in the flesh the Lamb was born in a troff to eat and came forth from a house of bread, in the heavenly reality in every house of bread ( Catholic Church) we go to the Troff ( the altar)and celebrate the true Passover, participate in the wedding feast of the Lamb at which time we become flesh of Christs glorified flesh and blood of Christs glorified blood. The lifes force is in the blood Leviticus If Christ is the true Passover than what was the Passover? Take an unblemished lamb kill the lamb spread the blood upon the door posts and the lentil. The unblemished Lamb is Christ the blood on the door posts and lentil is so that the angel will see the sign of the cross in wood and Passover . Those inside were told to consume the entire lamb. I am the true lamb of God unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood you will have no life in you for my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. The sprinkling of the blood on the door posts and lentil also signified baptism in which we are washed in the mystical blood of the lamb. 2Wash me yet more from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3For I know my iniquity, and my sin is always before me. 4To thee only have I sinned, and have done evil before thee: that thou mayst be justified in thy words and mayst overcome when thou art judged. 5For behold I was conceived in iniquities; and in sins did my mother conceive me. 6For behold thou hast loved truth: the uncertain and hidden things of thy wisdom thou hast made manifest to me. 7Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be cleansed: thou shalt wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow. 8To my hearing thou shalt give joy and gladness: and the bones that have been humbled shall rejoice. Psalms 51 DRB The meeting tent also helps us understand the mystical nature of Christ as Passover. The meeting tent is a microcosm of the church. Paul tells us that the veil in front of the holy Holies represents the flesh of Christ and the Holy of Holies represents heaven. Paul also tells us that we become one with Christs flesh by partaking of the one bread. the cup of benediction that we bless is it not participation in the blood of Christ the bread that we break is it not participation in his body ? Outside of the meeting tent is the laver of washing. The priests could not enter the meeting tent until they are washed nor can we enter the church unless we are Baptized The LEVITICAL priesthood which offered sacrifices that were images of Christ was an inferior type for a coming priest hood that would be refined in gold baptism 11 For from the rising of the sun even to the going down, my name is great among the Gentiles, and in every place there is sacrifice, and there is offered to my name a clean oblation: for my name is great among the Gentiles, saith the Lord of hosts. We can not repeat this prophecy enough it is a prophecy of the Catholic Mass. Remember the Gentiles were not brought into the church until after Calvary after the sacrifice of the cross yet they shall offer what is worthy of God! 2 And who shall be able to think of the day of his coming? and who shall stand to see him? for he is like a refining fire, and like the fullers herb: 3 And he shall sit refining and cleansing the silver, and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and shall refine them as gold, and as silver, and they shall offer sacrifices to the Lord in justice. 4 And the sacrifice of Juda and of Jerusalem shall please the Lord, as in the days of old, and in the ancient years. Mal 3 LET a man so account of us as of the ministers of Christ, and the dispensers of the mysteries of God. 1Corinthians 4:1 So to do this in commemoration of me is the ordination of the priesthood refined in gold in which will offer Christs glorified body in the form of bread and wine; to be dispensers of the mysteries if God. Back to the cross. Christ went to the cross as priest prophet and king. He wore the seamless garment of the high priest , he professed the good news and he was king in the line of David. As priest he was instituting the true sabbath feast as King of the Davidic Kingdom he was reconstituting the kingdom of David on earth in his blood that God told David would last forever. 13 And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying: Men, brethren, hear me. 14 Simon hath related how God first visited to take of the Gentiles a people to his name. 15 And to this agree the words of the prophets, as it is written: 16 After these things I will return, and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and the ruins thereof I will rebuild, and I will set it up: 17 That the residue of men may seek after the Lord, and all nations upon whom my name is invoked, saith the Lord, who doth these things. 18 To the Lord was his own work known from the beginning of the world. Acts 15 22 But you are come to mount Sion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to the company of many thousands of angels, 23 And to the church of the firstborn, who are written in the heavens, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of the just made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new testament, and to the sprinkling of blood which speaketh better than that of Abel. Hebrews 12. The blood that speaks better than Able is Baptism. So on the way to Calvary why did Christ refuse the cup even though you know he was parched. Because the moment of his glory was also the moment of his death ? I will not drink of the cup again until I enter my fathers glory The true Passover started at the last supper which Christ strongly desired to eat with the apostles, it was fulfilled at the cross. The Passover in which he instituted the New Testament in charity and communion and gave the apostles and the church for all generations the power to call down his glorified body and blood into the forms of bread and wine ( Maranatha) the true Passover continues in the priest offering the un bloody sacrifice which is a representation to the father of the one and only sacrifice of Calvary outside of the concept of time. When Christ separates the wine and the bread the body and the blood he signifies death. There is no greater love then to give up your life for another. The image of Christ in heaven is the great lion of Juda the one who is worthy to open the scrolls. He appears as a sacrificial lamb, What ever is bound on earth is bound in heaven. We enter into the church ( meeting tent) through baptism ( laver of washing) God told Moses the showbread must always be before God it is a perpetual offering. Heaven and earth will pass away but not one word of the law will, I have come to fulfill the law. We commune with the veil through the wedding feast of the lamb. 25Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the church, and delivered himself up for it: 26That he might sanctify it, cleansing it by the laver of water in the word of life: 27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any; such thing; but that it should be holy, and without blemish. 28So also ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife, loveth himself. 29For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, as also Christ doth the church: 30Because we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they shall be two in one flesh. 32This is a great sacrament; but I speak in Christ and in the church. Ephesians 5 We through the Eucharist unite in the wedding feast of the Lamb becoming part of the veil with Christ and as the City on the hill that cannot be hidden as the continuation of the Davidic kingdom on earth offer Christ the one and only sacrifice before the eyes of God until the end of time. The Church is the mystical body of Christ. The church is the veil. God the Father (holy of Holies) sees through the veil before he sees the sins of the world. When God was mad at the Israelights he told Moses I will destroy this people. When the father looks at our sins he first see’s the veil. When the abomination of desolation is set up and the sacrifice is removed from the temple, then will come the end of times. And the spirit and the bride say: Come. And he that heareth, let him say: Come. And he that thirsteth, let him come: and he that will, let him take the water of life, freely. So when was the moment of Christs glory? It was the moment of his death. I thirst Christ our true Passover has been sacrificed let us keep the feast! MY FLESH IS REAL FOOD MY BLOOD IS REAL DRINK, HE WHO EATS MY FLESH AND DRINKS MY BLOOD ABIDES IN ME AND I IN HIM. Christ was preparing us for the sacrifice of the mass even before Moses; when Abraham met Melchesedeck .
