My review of Bioderma Makeup Remover: The famous brand has chosen to bypass small business retailers in the US and is going mass market. My best advice is pass. I was thrilled beyond thrilled to have been gifted this a few years back, from a very chic/hip and well loved colleague of mine. My team of therapists and I gleefully imbibed after work, looking forward to a ground breaking experience. Verdict after one full week of use? The towelettes left a burning sensation on the skin. We at KLSC all have very different skin types, yet we all experienced the same not-so-pleasant tingling. It was, however, effective at removing makeup, but so are high quality baby wipes and they dont leave you with the burning sensation. As for the liquid remover, it has a tendency to sting the eyes even when you DONT get it in your eyes. Now, this I found u acceptable. All makeup removers will sting when you do get them in your eyes, but when properly cleansing and keeping the product on the outside of your eye, they do not. I truly believe that this company played its media hand early on very well, by retaining a few key European makeup artists and models, which of course helped develop a following. After keeping an open mind and well closed eyes, the truth is the burning tendencies of this brand are a pure no thanks in my book. If you dont mind chemically formulated makeup removers, youll be better off using something easy to find and light on the wallet, like LOreal Dermo-Expertise eye makeup remover.
