My review of Elder scrolls online... The combat mechanic is something cool as hell.. it maintains the interface you have come to expect from single player with upgrades to hotkey moves that can be used to combo. The moves are tree abilities and can be morphed into higher ones kinda like in skyrim. The game has a way to go but what I have seen of this combined with the lore of elder scrolls, they got my monthly fee. the game seems chaotic with the instances overlapping each other but it provides the opportunity for helping another player out and getting a lil xp for the kill. You collect lore books hidden thru out the maps some of which give bonuses but the lore once found is permanently accessible.. no more housing books. No headset support in the beta but if it was it would go a lot smoother, I suggested to them the headset only to function while in a party or give a guild only option etc. What I have seen of the starting area I had... the main story lives up to the level of the single player games and the social structures of the races can be better seen in the world, prides, prejudices etc,, the MMORPG platform bring all of this to life unlike the single player games. The character animations are top notch. I really enjoyed playing the beta bottom line.. whos playing it with me. The game is scheduled summer 2014. Who wants to play? The announced price is a lil steep.. 14.99 a month but I expect it to drop to 9.99 by the time the game gets released. Comment if you are interested in trying this next year.
