My righteous opinion about “American Sniper” is not an indictment against Veterans! Yesterday I gave my opinion about the war hero movie “American Sniper” based on the life of U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle who is described as America’s most lethal sniper in the history of the U.S. military. My opinion about the movie was about the hypocrisy of white Americans not an indictment of Veterans! It was an indictment of how a nation makes heroes out of those that were tricked into going to fight wars that were not necessary against people of color and the slaughter of people of color in the name of freedom and the American way! Fighting and killing people in other countries to get rid of terrorism and radicalism of certain religious groups. While in America the greatest acts of terrorism ever committed against humanity were committed and in a way are still committed by white men against people of color on American soil and those same white Americans who applaud the actions of getting rid of terrorism and those who committed it on foreign soil saying that it is an abomination against the word and way of God. Those same white Americans find the acts of terrorism that took place in America against its Black citizens and still take place against its Black citizens. Taking place everyday find those actions and acts of terrorism acceptable to them as they stand complacently on the sidelines watching and turning their heads away from the travesties being committed against their fellow citizens of Black heritage in American! In reference to morality those actions or lack of action to speak up speak out and do something to change the injustice committed against their fellow Black citizens puts white Americans in a moral crisis! -HG/THGS- The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis. -Dante Alighieri-
