My role as a foster parent is one of the best and most challenging jobs I can think of. Aside from kissing owes, reassuring fears, remaining calm and stinking consistent despite emotions or reactions, I also sit at tables with waaaaaaay too many professionals who get paid waaaaay too much money - tell me how to "parent" and advocate for someone they have often never met. Today all of those meetings and frustrations have paid off as I watch our girl move into her own space / suite- attached in our home with some of the best caregivers known to man.
