My second try with this DIY double layer food tins twig burning stove. Has taken me nearly a month to find the essential round tuits for simple modification which raises pan support, at expense of reduced space for the fire inside. This proved a great help, however sustained gas fire only credible when moved to sheltered place away from increasing wind (and rain shower just as finished this heating of baked beans scoff). So it does work, and I think maybe wants a rather open fire with a few twigs added frequently rather than jamming lots in then hoping to complete the cooking just with that.
