My self and 9 friends are on the dawn princess sailing around NZ we set sail on the 16th . Today is monday we just visited beautiful Akoroa, in 1836 a french whaler bought this peninsula from the locals for a french settlement. he settled 59 french and 6 germans. When the English heard this they hoisted the british flag that was in 1840. so this little town is still today like a little french village, very quaint. We will be in Dunedin tomorrow then sail home in 3 days. Its all been lovely with lovely people but I will be pleased to get home, to see everyone bi for now xx
