My sister, Jennifer Vest, is caretaker for her father, who has various medical problems, including dementia. She asks: My family needs warm thoughts and prayers right now. Yesterday I had to take my father to the VA ER due to rapid pulse high blood pressure and a fever. We found out he has cellulitis in his leg. The VA called today to inform me they are debating on taking him into the OR to open the leg up and clean it out. He is stable but not fully conscious.
