My sister and I bagged nine bags of leaves from the backyard at Pops house. Im beginning to say goodbye to a place that was a sanctuary during my childhood. This was where I ate summer peaches while I read a book. This was where I played between fresh clothes drying on the line. This was where I played hide and seek, where I threw balls on the roof only to catch them, where I rode my tricycle around on the patio. Its more than a place. It is a memory.
