My sister has walked this lifetime with me. She is my first memory, and will most assuredly be in my last. When people meet her they always say, oh yeah, I can DEFINITELY tell she is your sister! Shes my brunette counterpart. We both have our mothers smile. We would to trick our sweet grandmother because she could never tell us apart on the phone; we both also share a sense of humor but more than all that, we share a spirit. You only get to have that with someone who walks your lifetime with you...the girl you played barbies with, and prayed with at night, the one who hated sledding with Dad right along with you, and helped plant flowers with you and mom, the one who knew you had your first crush before you did...the other one who struggled through your parents divorce along side you...through the deaths of your grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends...through the heartbreaks that left marks on both of your hearts...the one who was there when your children were born...and loves them as an extension of herself...the one that will be at graduations, retirements, and the births of grandbabies...She will be my constant...from birth, to death...and even then, she will be with me.
