My son David Williams is doing such good work in Ukraine, a country that he has come to love. He has a small cafe in Kiev where kids can play video games (and come in out of the cold) and where he teaches English. If anyone is looking for a worthy project to share a bit of financial help, this could be a good one. 5:54 a.m. Nov 24 - David writes: Here are the pictures of the entire area that I imagined three years ago. The separate room is for English. We just completed a rebuild about a month ago, increasing our floor space by 100%. This is so we could include a reception area for Game Zone and for English, plus an additional room for classes (Before, I would kick everyone out that was playing video games for an hour long class of English. Of course people were not happy, but what else could I do?) Now I teach English in a separate room, and Zena that you see in the picture takes care of my customers. He also schedules appointments for new students. However, money is an issue. I have until the 26th of November to come up with $300 to pay for rent, which is in the next two days. Here in Ukraine they are not flexible. It doesnt matter that we have built a park outside like you see or what we have done to improve the community. When I started this project three years ago, I wanted children and teenagers to have a safe place to grow and to have a better life than they currently have. Jumping back to reality and where we are situated in the city -- no money, no grace period, leave the premises immediately if Administration does not have the full rent money. I dont foresee an issue in the future, as we now have additional space and money is not being funneled to make this place bigger since it has already been accomplished.
