My son, Jakoby Lopez, may not have graduated from a CHARTER School but hes a proud graduate of CLEMENTE HIGH SCHOOL, which happens to be an IB school, a Level 2 school, and has a 100% College ACCEPTANCE RATE. Oh, and recieved a FULL SCHOLARSHIP to COLUMBIA COLLEGE, as well as recieved many recognitions for all is hard work during his 4 years at a CPS school. ALL schools, be it CPS, CHARTER, PRIVATE, CATHOLIC, what have you, have a not so likeable reputation for one thing or another. There have been many wonderful success stories coming out of all schools. So for someone to belittle CLEMENTE, or any other school, is in total disregard of the students who go to school to LEARN and not PLAY. I myself am a PROUD CLEMENTE ALUMNI and the majority of my family and friends are as well. I wish YOU and all others much success in your future education and in life. Just goes to show that when you take your education seriously... NOTHING and NO ONE can STOP YOU FROM REACHING YOUR GOALS!!!! If this bothered you... oh well, but I will DEFEND the hard work done by my son and all the students in Chicago, particularly, CLEMENTE, because I AM PROUD of the their ACCOMPLISHMENTS. NO ONE... I DONT CARE WHAT YOUR G.P.A was, how many scholarships you received, or what schools you were accepted to, has the right to BELITTLE ANYONES ACCOMPLISHMENTS! You have your opinion... I OWN MINE!
