My son, Josaphat Letona, was robbed today from a legitimate goal. These NCSL referees need a refreshing course on the off side rule. Let me make it clear to you. If a striker beats the defender on the run, and if he makes the run after the ball is played, he is not off side; and if there is till a player plus the goal keeper in front, then, that player is not off side. This happened today during the game between Reston Internationals 96 against a team from Loudoun, at the Loudoun soccer park. Whoever assigned these referees, needs to bring this up to their attention. In general, the referees in these area need to learn this rule.
