My son, Kevin, spoke to the coroner a couple days ago about Andys autopsy. Andy had previous heart attacks and had old scar tissue around his heart. One of the heart attacks was recent and probably bigger than the others. Also, one of his arteries was 95% blocked. He had a stress test 3 1/2 years ago when he thought he might be having heart issues and they said his heart was strong and he was just having panic attacks. That was most likely wrong. He didnt have any other signs (panic attacks we thought) until maybe early this year. If we had felt there was any reason to get a second opinion, Ill bet we could have found it. He didnt have any risk factors except an uncle who had heart issues and died this year at 92. We are supposed to get the written report next week. Heartbreaking to know it could have been avoided. :(
