My son Takunda is just leaving Zimbabwe and starting his studies in Algeria at the State University to become a chemical engeneer. I am happy that he is alredy 24 years old, so he is more mature to meet a new culture. He is Christian and in Algeria most of the people are muslims. It is hard for him to leave his brother and sister in Zimbabwe. But they are in good hands in Zimbabwe e.g. by Zimbabwen AIDS-orvot ry. His parents died years ago. And I have been her godmother from 2009. I miss him a lot every day. We have never seen each other face to face. I ha promised him to fly to Algeria to see him this year. It is the most important thing to me this year. .Absolutely. I pray every day God that he will keep my Takunda safe and Takunda will learn French, because enegeneering studies are in French. But at the univesity students who come fromZimbabwe have French a lot in their programme first year.
