My son concerning the question you asked me whether we need The prophetic Ministry Today the answer is a very big YES We need the prophetic ministry today and it is relevant for the unity and maturing of the Body. Both the Pauline Epistles of Corinthians and Ephesians clearly show that God has set in the church Prophets UNTIL the church comes to unity and maturity.it is inconsistent to take the ministries of Evangelists,Pastors and Teachers and say they are still in the church today and relegate the ministries of Apostles and Prophets to the early church era. The church needs the prophetic today.In fact,one of the signs of the last days is the prophetic word coming as a result of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all flesh(Joel 2:28-32;Acts 2:14-21) My only advise to every prophet whether male or female is that Avoid extremes. Put the word of God first in your life.Do not be a performer,but be a minister.Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.Spend much time in prayer and the word to prepare yourself before ministering.
