My son dresses in his business Gator attire on the Friday before Labor Day Weekend when we all used to gather at Grannie and Pops (Mom and Dads) for the first Gator Game. It was always a great time to be together, Tailgate at Flavet Field (Florida Veterans housing used to be here as in Quanset Housing), step back and watch Mom park the motor home under the watchful and ever verbal commentary of dad, which I might add mom readily ignored! Then on to the Gator Game and a weekend of being together. Perhaps it is time that we continue this great tradition...after all, there are future Gators at stake!!!
