My son got the snow blower going and started to do the driveway and sidewalk. I moved my truck and was sitting there waiting. I decided to go get some gas, so I headed to the neighborhood gas station. I finished gassing up and was paying for it when I noticed two Kookums waiting in the station. I asked them if they were waiting for a ride. They said they were waiting for a taxi, but it was going to be a long wait. They were just at Kensington Bingo. I told them that I would give them a ride home. They were so grateful and got in my Yukon. I headed out and asked them where they lived and she said they lived right downtown on 95 Street at Metis Urban Housing. I got them home and they were so grateful. I just thought of my late mom and would like someone to help her if she needed a ride.. I love driving in the snow, especially when i have 4 wheel drive and great tires...
