My son misses the cut off for pre K this year, which Im assuming is pretty common. The only thing is, when he starts Kindergarten he will turn 6 only two months into the school year, so hell be one of the older kids... which means when he graduates high-school he will almost be 19. So Im curious, how has that turned out for others out there? He is very advanced so I feel like if he has to wait even longer for kindergarten he will get bored and act up. Another thing is, my other son doesnt miss the cut off. So when he is old enough, he will start kindergarten at 4 and turn 5 a couple weeks later. Which means they will be one grade apart but two years apart in age. Anyone else have to deal with this?
