My son was riding his bike right now and wasnt paying close enough attention when a guy and his kids were backing out of their driveway and came close to hitting him, the guy stopped and talked to my eight year old and told him he needs to watch closer for cars pulling out of driveways and be more careful and then he stopped at my house to let me know what happened so I could have a talk with him. This is a perfect example of it takes a village and I was very thankful that this guy took the time to be neighborly and helpful to a fellow parent. And Im so glad my son didnt get hit. And a good reminder to watch carefully for the kids in our neighborhoods out playing, and a great reminder to make sure our kids remember to be cautious and careful on their bikes. This man didnt know us, and I appreciate that he took the time to stop and let me know what happened.
