My son was selected to play on the Mt. Lebanon travel Baseball team, due to "his arm". I had to leave work early today, rush home to pick him up, then get him to the ball field in Homestead, in time for warms ups and the game... We made it. And though his team lost this evening, and just about every game this season, my son received a medal for "Tournament VIP". LIke I spoke of in an earlier post this evening...gratitude. I received this email from his coach tonight... 11:32 PM (52 minutes ago) to me Ms. Strickler, Your son has a very, very good arm. Please encourage him to keep playing baseball and pitching especially. He is only going to get better for sure. Lastly, he is a very nice young man and it was a pleasure to have him on our team.
