My sons first day of school back in 2007 or more like his second day. He was terrified and didnt understand why he had to leave creche. And so he screamed and cried and insisted on going back to his old school. Eventually I took him to his creche so that he could see for himself that all his friends have passed and have all gone to different schools. Boy was he a happy chap the next day, all smiles in his new uniform. Its interesting how my son and I had our first pics taken in our grandfathers work place. His picture was taken at his grandfathers office and mine was taken at my grandfathers shop :-) To the parents who are experiencing all kinds of emotions on this first day at school for their kids...relax...They got this!!! Be prepared for the awesome never ending questions, stories about how they looove their teacher, the new best friend, the bullies,lost school shoes, etc!
