My soulmate Sonali is a beautiful and proud Sri Lankan, and she has waited for years to share her rich and beautiful culture with the dance community. She led me to find my own love for Bollywood, and this set is the manifestation of all that humble pride bursting forth and dousing the stage in color and life. Words cannot describe how proud I am that I got to be a part of this. Of this celebration of my soulmate with vets and cadets who opened their arms and absorbed this whole new world of dance with enthusiasm and vigor. During the creation of this wondrous monster I learned that Bhangra dancing is meant to express pure joy and happiness, and that is exactly what happens whenever the Corps gathers together.
