Remmy told the likes of Yinka Mafe, Tola Banjo and the Speaker two days ago when the trio were plotting for his suspension behind him during the committee of the whole house meeting two days ago, until he walked in. Committee of the whole is where bills or proposals are discussed to a certain if it merits any reading or debate on the floor of the house. Those behind the useless rumours are Tola Banjo and Yinka Mafe. The duo were trying to instigate the house against Remmy for stating the obvious - Ogun state is in serious financial problem. They are Amosuns henchmen in the house. We heard they were bragging and flexing in front of the speaker until Remmy walked in. Remmy repeated the statement I quoted above and Tola was said to have told the Speaker and other members present that they cant keep giving Remmy a preferential treatment in the house and the speaker was quoted to have told him, if I knew thats what ull say, I wouldnt have allowed you talk, you just ruined everything with your last statement. The members moved from the meeting to the chamber and nothing happened thereafter. Where did Remmy go on trial? Which committee tried him? Who did he apologised to? For the second time, the jankara plot by Mafe and Tola Banjo to deceive the house to suspend Remmy failed. This time, it did not even leave the discussion table as they would have expected. I just hope these lots will allow Suraju to finish his tenure as the speaker and not force the warriors to change the house leadership any time soon. If you push them too far, the leadership positions of the house may pay with their positions before December. If they want this dispensation to have two speakers in 1 term, we will help them.
