My story is.... 3 years ago I came out of my Acdf (Disk fusion in my neck) with 22 symptoms that mimic Autoimmune Disorders. I didnt know what was wrong with me for almost 2 years. Doctors and testing, all negative. Nobody had a clue about any of it. Finally a Neurological Center and the Mayo Clinic in Florida gave me my diagnosis and I felt like alot was lifted off of me bc I finally had an answer. An answer that I wasnt quite sure of, but some kind of answer to the big question that I had since my surgery. At the same time, I was like...what do u mean its all in my head??? Well they explained to me that its a doctors term. They mean its in your Brain. Well of course they say my case is so complicated. Well, I see my psychologist and my medical psychologist like Im suppose too. So my psychologist tried to do hypnosis. Haha...Nope! Anxiety way too high. So he just sent me to another psychologist that specializes in Hypnosis. So I go see him and give him the run down. He tried the Hypnosis...Nope! Too much anxiety. I see him the 2nd time. This is what he tells me...My Subconscious is stressed. He says even when you are under General Anesthesia, your subconscious is still awake. He says this all stems from something happened in surgery that my subconscious mind picked up on something stressful that was said in surgery. So he says that we have to get your subconscious mind back to normal. So of course, Im baffled that nobody has ever said anything about general anesthesia and subconscious mind in surgery. So of course I have to research like I have always done. Well... If you google general anesthesia and subconscious, Surprise Surprise Everyone! If your subconscious mind during surgery and picks up stress or if you wake up in surgery and stress, you can come out of surgery NOW or LATER with multiple symptoms including PTSD, NEUROLOGICAL PROBLEMS, PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEMS, ANXIETY, BLINDNESS, AND OTHER SYMPTOMS. Wow right! What a shocker! So I went back to my Hypnotherapist and told him that I had to research that. He asked me what did I find? I told him. He was extremely interested bc he wanted to know even more about it. So I emailed him everything that I looked up. He told me I will be by your side and I will work with you, and will get better. So thats my story. I hope everyone will have some kind of benefits from this. After his 5th try with me, the hypnosis helped that day. It might have only helped less than 1/2 the day, but it was a step. A step closer to anything else that I tried.
