My story so far is....... I live in the far south of the Australian mainland.....near the small village called Fish Creek. Grew up in Fish Creek, travelled and then went back years later with 3 children and raised them myself. My partner and I own and operate a small dynamic contemporary art gallery, framing and art supplies business, Gecko Studio Gallery.....check us out on the web. We also have boutique accommodation called the ArtHouse which we have opened recently.... My arts background is in painting, drawing and printmaking and I continue to work with these mediums when time permits, but the iPhone and iPad has revolutionised my art practice, especially with the time constraints I have these days! I have had considerable success with my iPhone work and have recently had a work selected for the Pocket Vistas Mobile Photo Awards exhibition in Canada on now, and last weekend I won the 1st prize in an exhibition here....am now a little wealthier and pleased that my iPhone collage images are getting recognition here. Australias art scene hasnt really taken this new media tool to heart yet, but hopefully this will change. In any case I have a very large body of work I have compiled in the 4 years I have been using my iPhone for art making. I have Facebook and Instagram pages for my work but have been tardy in getting my own website going.....will do that next week!
