My story...uncut..real...true No secrets..I initially had the lapband from 2009-2012.. Developed major health complications, had lapband removed in 2012 and lots of healing took place internally for a year..underwent hernia repair, scar tissue removal, lysis of adhesions and gastric bypass surgery June 2013. Had lots of abdominal pain after surgery, requiring multiple ER/Urgent Care visits and hospital stays. Was discovered that part of the lapband was left in my abdomen.another surgery done Dec. 2013. I pray I am done with major pain and can focus again on diet and exercise. I have just recently discovered that I alone must put in the work required to stay healthy. Not at all interested in being skinny...I do want to be the epitome of good health though....so there it is...my story
