My sweet Oz man is going into congestive heart failure from a congenital heart defect that cannot be treated. His heart is enlarged and not working properly and no medication can fix it....Im backed into a corner waiting for his breathing to get bad enough that he needs to be put to sleep, but my heart just doesnt want to schedule that appointment until I know it needs to be done...Feeling frustrated and angry and at a total loss because hes my kid and I cant fix him. Hes not even 3 years old and had such a rough start to life. I found him out back in July. Hes the sweetest, most loving, gentlest cat you could ever know. it sucks when your choice is to put him to sleep or watch him slowly suffocate. Just heartbroken and feeling this is not a good omen to start out the new year with.
