My sweet friends and peers, As most of you know I have been struggling over the past several months with breathing issues. I have confided in some of my close friends and of course family but haven’t really put it out there on FB as to what was going on except to say that I covet your prayers. I am now letting you know that a portion of my left lung has died…cause unknown: additionally they have found cysts that are growing on my lung and creating holes in my lung, thus not being able to breathe well and continuing to hold on to pneumonia. It is unsure as to what is causing these issues ( I have never smoked a day in my life) so I am being sent to UT Hospital where I will meet with another pulmonologist and will undergo a Lung Biopsy. Unfortunately my insurance does not cover my current pulmonologist Dr. Phillip Nichols. In my book, he is the very best. Before he walked out of my examination room yesterday he asked to pray with me. That meant so very much. I am BELIEVING that God is in control and I ask that all of you BELIEVE with me. Please continue to pray for me as I undergo most tests and biopsies. I am continuing to do everything that I have done in the past, just a little slower. My photography studio will remain open and I will continue my photography as well as offer space to other photographers to rent. I will continue to do our television show, Southern Style Praise with Dale Burress and Mike and I will also continue to do our radio show every month, Talk Of The Town with Diane Parten. Most of all, I will continue to travel with my precious anointed group Eternal Vision and hope to see you when we are in your area. My husband Mike, my son Shannon and our bass vocalist Stuart will take very good care of me so I don’t have to worry. Mike’s dad Wiley Shelby is traveling a lot with us now, so I KNOW they will be good to me. LOL! My husband and my children, Scott, Missy, Shannon, Kayla, Kari, Nate, grandchildren Miranda, Megan, Annabelle and Braxton are my rock as well as my precious sissy Debbie Buckner. I thank God for them every day of my life and am so very blessed. Our church family and pastor Ronnie Scarbrough, at Grace Full Gospel Baptist Church have been phenomenal and I love each and every one so very much. My awesome friends who are too nurmerous to mention have been my prayer partners as well a strong source of support and I appreciate them so very much. This is only a thing. God is in control and HE has a perfect plan. I am so glad that I am part of HIS plan.
