My synchronicities at Joshua Tree were powerful and still resonating as chant. I came to check out the desert, Rupert Sheldrake and found the music of Jill Purce and more. Upon departure, in the heat of noon, not one, but two yellow desert scorpions appeared (out of nowhere, of course!^--^) in my yurt. With me Nori, beloved granddaughter I had not seen in years and Jesse, her Dad. Also Illya, and all the dear yurt people. Today I find that scorpions appear in the Book of Symbols in all their dangerous glory of transformation. “Threshold guardian, the scorpion goddess Selket is endowed with the venomous sting of death and also its antidote. “ And later the recognition that it lives in the skies, as it once lived in the water, “a creature able to negotiate the energies of disparate dimensions in the service of quintessential transformation.” Scorpion time the time when base metal becomes gold. Thank you people! Thank you Gary, Ana Lei Sidorchuk for my first Tarot card reading (change unfolding), Toko Pa for your softness and deep dream, Jill Purce for the mistery of sound, Richard Tarnas, of course Rupert Sheldrake and Graham Hancock, Stephen Aisenstat, the Earth Chart man in his sandals at the UN. All the smiles and good intentions, the dining hall people, the open doors held, the strange no shoe policy – one ought to have a shoes allowed area… the birds, the one butterfly, the sand. And so we go, searching for what we imagine our next now will bring!
