My take: So I was pondering over a few things in the lead up to this weekend because there are so many clubs competing all over. It struck me that whilst there are heaps of us in competition it simply wouldnt exist without each one us dedicating ourselves to the art/sport and lifestyle. Also, leave aside the competition, without such dedication we wouldnt build off each other. Some may disagree but I honour the people below as contributors to my art and personal growth and in my perspective we are all responsible for generating a positive, respectable and well equipped martial art community. Without each other we are not community. You are in competition but you are not my foe. There is a greater cause we have all contributed to and I hope that what we cement today is a solid foundation for next generations. Thank you my friends:)
