My take on Brown (without fully knowing the facts) - he should go. Not because he had an affair; that would be uptight 50s morality where being exposed as gay would also have seen calls to resign and media crucifixion. Which is plain wrong. However, he should resign because, if the affidavit is taken at face value, he seems to have targeted a women in an employment relationship he had power over, which effected her decision to sleep with him. Yuck. Note: this is without knowing the facts or hearing Browns side of the story. I could be corrected.
