My #tbt 13 years ago I was working for Cadillac in Longview, Texas as a technician. I remember, walking up to the parts counter where the customer lounge was.. Seeing the television with the first WTC tower impacted by a jet.. At that time, it was still unclear what was happening.. I can recall everyone in the shop gathering around the TV as this particular day unraveled into chaos.. There became a panick across our country.. It was like everything came to a standstill on this day... I saw gas prices change at one particular gas station, three times in that one day..With lines all the way down the block.. What I learned from this experience? Regardless of how divided we are in our political beliefs.. It was the first time in my life I saw Americans united like Ive never seen before.. It is a shame that it takes such a horrible event, for us to come together as a nation and see things eye to eye... We will never forget... God Bless America..
