My theory...we wont sign anyone this window. The reason....mike ashley wont want to spend any money bringing in new players that our next permanent head coach/manager, doesnt want. Hence a ready made excuse for Ashley to make the appointment of a new man in charge, a long drawn out affair, lasting most of the month. A shortlist is apparently being drawn up(not official as far as im aware, just usual paper talk) so as to start preliminary talks next week with potential managers. Meaning not enough time for the new man to target any signings he wants, albeit if ashley actually lets him sign anyone. The fat leech needs to stop sucking the life out of our club and treating it as his money cow. The problem of having a business man using a club as his hobby and a commodity. No feelings for the fans or history of a club...just as long as the balance sheet checks out n a steady income goes through the books. ./gaz
