My thought of the day.....I did some reading on PAs Core Curriculum (on the PA Education website so I could get my facts straight). Im curious what people think of it? How is it working? My thought is that I dont think the overall goals of it are bad.....but I do think most teachers will be reluctant to change their teaching style (as no one in any industry likes change - but we all deal with it), and thats unfortunate. When my industry rules change....its affects the way I do my job....when the teaching industry is reluctant to change it affects our kids and thier futures. Are teachers getting properly trained? Are they getting the right tools to do this? For my daughters sake....I hope you all are!
