My thoughts after I came across an intimidating caption next to a photo of a Hijabi saying, If you are Muslim, look like a Muslim.: What does a Muslim suppose to look like? Does wearing a Hijab make you look like a Muslim? I guess it does nowadays as its dominantly associated with Muslims, but did you know that only a few centuries ago Jews and Christians were Hijab-clad too, and still is in some areas? What did a Muslim look like, then? A Muslims appearance has no specific look. However, there is a specific way of acting like Muslim; and that is to initiate a revolution to better society and life in the face of organised dogmatism, oppression, injustice et al. May Allah give us all, the desire and ability to act like Muslims.
