My thoughts after a long, trying weekend: God is great! He never sleeps nor slumbers so that we may rest easy (thanks Rita) I had to be reminded of this with all thats been going on. But even through tragedy and darkness God shined his light through and showed me how blessed I truly am. He continues to heal my nephew and his dad at an exponential rate. But he also showed/reminded me of how good I already have it....my family is AMAZING! Ive never seen people come together so quickly, without question. Willing to serve and help one another. No greed or selfishness in sight...my girlfriend is MY ROCK and Ill lean on her through everything! She is an amazing, strong woman! Her words encourage me like I could have never imagined before. She has to be sent straight from God himself! She, through God, gives me the strength to do anything!....my friends are the best a guy could ask for. Countless calls/text asking how could they help and a plethora of prayers and kind words. It was nice to feel their embrace, even with the given circumstances....with all this said, this is my point. I was reminded to love life again. And not to take it for granted cause you never know when itll come to a screeching halt. Take the time out to love your family and friends. Dont let a busy schedule or the thought of Ill do it tomorrow keep you from doing it today. Its the only thing that is for certain, because tomorrow surely isnt. And to all my family and friends who have prayed and kept us in your hearts I truly thank yall! I love you guys!
