Isaiah 55:8-9 We all struggle to be better. Its a lot easier to stay the way we are as were used to it. Our behavior is basically emulating what our elders have done and doing them. Those whose parents were kind, loving and respectful - their children may turn out the same way as we learn from them. That explain why children continue that pattern of behavior and be positive, continuing what they have learned.Similarly, those who resent others or do negative behavior like drinking/ drugging, worrying, complaining, blaming, etc. may have acquired that from their elders who have done them themselves And will just continue to do that pattern of behavior; unaware of what they can do to change for the better.There are exceptions but the rule is most do. We choose and that is our damnation or salvation. The obvious choice is to do it His Way - not our way. To be positive. To bear our Cross. Be positive what we think. What we say and what we do .... with all our heart, our soul, our strengths, with all that we have - body and mind like Jesus did in his resurrection, death on the cross for our salvation.
