My thoughts on Interstellar are thus: Amazing, at times jaw-dropping, wonderfully acted, visually stunning and extremely emotional film that has some odd flaws and a Doctor Who-worthy (not in a good way) third act. My issues with the film never kept me from enjoying it, though. People will say its over-hyped, but I dont think thats even remotely fair. There are not many mainstream Hollywood blockbuster filmmakers like Christopher Nolan out there anymore, and even with the flaws, this is still one of the most creative, unique, and well made sci-fi films that Ive seen in a long time and harkens back to the best of Steven Spielbergs early sci-fi entries. I was engrossed from beginning to end, and though at times I was scratching my head, I loved the film. That deserves hype. #Interstellar
